Shipping & Returns

Cable Construction components may vary owing to material and component availability. AMS is committed to ensuring that quality and application standards remain uncompromised.

Shipping:

We dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days (most same or next day). Delivery times (Australia Post or selected couriers)

  • Metro Australia: 2–5 business days
  • Regional Australia: 3–7 business days
  • International: 7–21 business days (varies by country)
  • Costs are calculated at checkout and is weight-based (rounded up to the next full kilogram to match carrier policies).
  • Rates are shown before payment. Some bulky or restricted items cannot be shipped internationally — we will advise if this applies.

Returns & Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind or incorrect ordering decisions. You may return items within 30 days of delivery if:

  • the item is faulty
  • the item is wrongly described or different to what was ordered
  • the item does not perform as described on the website
  • In these cases you can choose a full refund of the purchase price, exchange, or store credit.

Return Process

  1. Contact us on 1300 400 485 or support@aftermarketspares.com.au with your order number and photos/reason.
  2. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
  3. Return the item in original packaging, unused condition (where applicable), with the RMA clearly marked.
  4. Customer pays return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or wrongly supplied (in which case we will provide a prepaid label).
  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund/exchange/credit within 5 business days.
  6. Note: Custom-built cables and made-to-order items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described. All returns are subject to Australian Consumer Law (ACL) rights, which are not affected by this policy.

Warranty
This warranty covers faults in components and workmanship of the product itself when used under normal conditions and does not cover:

  • Faulty installation
  • Over voltage
  • Accidental damage
  • Excessive heat damage
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Incorrect use of chemicals that damage plastics (see list below)
  • Freight charges
  • Cost of labour for removal and/or replacement of product
  • Product damage from exposure to chemicals as per Chemical Resistance List.
